Lovely cosmetic condition with just a few light age related handling marks (see photos).  It is an engine turned brass finish with a straight line pattern filled with black lacquer with 23K gold plated trim.  No dings or dents.  Perfect clean White dot on the clip.  All Gold trim is in perfect condition. Stamped "Sheaffer USA" on the cap top ornament. Clip is a nice firm fit and properly aligned. It has a medium 14K solid gold inlaid nib in perfect condition. Comes with a press bar filler in working condition. Also accepts cartridges (none supplied). Dip tested and writes nicely (see photo of writing sample). Supplied in its Sheaffer presentation box which is in excellent condition with instruction leaflet.
