Here is a good usable short block motor assembly for a Kohler K161 7hp engine. Please check your applications in pics. 20 & 21. It was mounted to a vintage Troy-bilt bilt Gardenway horse rototiller. It is in good structural shape.  The crankshaft rotates cleanly, operating the valve train quietly and tightly.  The piston rises and falls smoothly to revealing a decent cylinder wall, with  some minor vertical striations.  Not much of a top lip either.  No collision damage,  alloy cracks,  brutal rust, or corrosion.  The bottom oil sump is in good fettle too.  As is the advance lever.  Both crankshaft keyways are nice without damage.  The exterior shows some common aging and weathering, but will mount to the Horse tiller with all four mounting bolts that are in good shape too.  You are getting everything in the photos.  This is a great  spare too, for these are NLA and getting difficult to find in buildable condition anymore.  The Kohler K161 implement engines were amongst the toughest ever made!  Keep that reliable ol' Kohler running beyond the modern engines playing out!
