Installation Guide
- Ensure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is on a stable, flat surface to prevent accidents during installation.
- Locate the existing power steering pump on the engine compartment of your 2003-2005 Honda Accord L4 2.4L.
- Carefully remove the hoses attached to the old pump inlet and outlet after draining any residual steering fluid.
- Detach the old pump by unscrewing the bolt-on pulley attachment and remove it from the engine bay.
- Install the new power steering pump by aligning it in place and securing it with bolts.
- Connect the hoses to the new power steering pump inlet and outlet, ensuring they are tightly attached to avoid leaks.
- Refill with the appropriate power steering fluid and bleed the system to remove air pockets.
- Conduct a test drive to ensure proper functionality and that there are no leaks present.
Important Notes
- This power steering pump does not include the pulley or the reservoir; these components need to be purchased separately if replacement is necessary.
- Ensure compatibility with your vehicle's specifications using OE and interchange part numbers: 56110RAAA01, 215341, 56100RAAA01, 56110PND003, 9900656.
- Verify that all installation steps are followed according to your vehicle’s service manual for optimal performance.
- Double-check all connections post-installation to prevent steering fluid leaks, which can lead to steering issues.
