This listing is for a Ultra Light GREEN SWISS WHIZ CHAMP /Fishing spinning /Reel,
never used, in its original box, with original packing, and literature. It has been in storage since the 1950's. The literature maybe have some discoloration and spotting and the original brown 1 piece box has some very small scratches, discoloration, or some shelf wear. The box is approx. 4'" x 4" .Reel has never been used.
This ultra light spinning reel was designed especially for the American Modern Light Weight Rods. According to the manufacturer, "the reel redesigned the Swiss type reels, (that were flooding America) where attention was paid for holding the weight, retaining quality and durability and adding important features, resulting in a better quality reel at a lower cost." This reel weighs approx. 5 ounces, and in 1950's it was advertised as the "Lightest on the Market"!
