Prior versions of this OEM La-Z-Boy part were made with very thin inferior wires and inadequate cable insulation on the heating and massage outputs that are extremely prone to premature failure (see above photos). They were ultimately replaced with the most current OEM version (sold here), with much thicker gauge wire and heavy duty cable insulation. This is why we recommend ONLY replacing your original with this BRAND NEW UPGRADED VERSION. We do sell both new and used units if you are so inclined, but a used unit with unknown age/mileage is only going to fail that much sooner.
PLEASE NOTE: This control unit will ONLY work for Lazy Boy recliner that has “Heat / Massage” feature. Please check your part number carefully before purchasing this unit!
