Émile Gallé - Cristallerie Nancy Vase mit Silbermontur um 1895

Museales Jugendstilobjekt. Wunderschöne frühe Bechervase von Émile Gallé, Nancy-Frankreich. Die Vase mit dem Motiv der Clematis besticht neben der Glaskunst ansich durch die zusätzliche florale, handgeschmiedete Silbermontur am Vasenboden und Vasenhals. Diese Silbermontur ist neben der Meisterpunze "MV" mit der "Minerve Casquée 1" Punze aus Paris gekennzeichnet, welches für hochlegiertes 950er Silber steht. Diese wunderschön, durchbrochene, plastische Silberarbeit stellt umrankendes Efeu dar. Jedes Silberteil (am Hals, wie auch am Boden) ist zweifach punziert. Der Glaskorpus besteht aus farblosen Glas mit milchigweiß/violetten Pulvereinschmelzungen und ist mehrschichtig violett überfangen und plastisch ausgearbeitet. Die Oberfläche ist feuerpoliert. Unterseitig im Boden der Vase durch Nadelätzung signiert mit "Cristallerie Gallé à Nancy. Modele et decor deposés". Diese Signatur wurde in der Zeit zwischen 1895-1897 verwendet.

Émile Gallé - Cristallerie Nancy vase with silver fittings around 1895

Art Nouveau museum object. Beautiful early cup vase by Émile Gallé, Nancy-France. 
In addition to the glass art itself, the vase with the clematis motif impresses with the additional floral, hand-forged silver fittings on the base and neck of the vase. 
In addition to the master's mark "MV", this silver mount is marked with the "Minerve Casquée 1" hallmark from Paris, which stands for high-alloy 950 silver. 
This beautiful, openwork, sculptural silver work depicts ivy entwining. Each silver part (on the neck as well as on the base) is hallmarked twice. 
The glass body is made of colorless glass with milky white/violet powder melts and is overlaid in multiple layers of violet and sculpted. 
The surface is fire polished. Signed with needle etching on the bottom of the vase with "Cristallerie Gallé à Nancy. 
Modele et decor deposés". This signature was used between 1895-1897.
