It's offered to your attention the emergency spacesuit Sokol KV-2 of a Russian cosmonaut flown in space in 2019 onboard Soyuz spacecraft during launch and descent, as well as orbiting. A functional example of the spacesuit that is used in Russia's space program at the present time.
The spacesuit is of a soft type, with a two-layered shell - a pressure-restraint layer made of fabric, and the airtight layer made of rubber and synthetic-rubberized fabric.
The suit is donned through the zippered front opening. It is sealed by gathering folds of the inner airtight rubberized cloth and wrapping rubber bands around them. The suit is one-piece, including the helmet. The gloves are put on separately. In the Soyuz spacecraft the cosmonaut in the spacesuit reclines in shock-absorbing seat which has individual custom-molded liner.
- used for a real space mission.
- weight about 10 kg (22 pounds US).
- autonomy up to 2 hours in unpressurized cabin, or up to 30 hours in pressurized one.
- ventilating air flow of up to 150 l/min.
- oxygen supply of about 20 l/min.
- manufactured individually according to anthropometric measurements of the cosmonaut.
- this model is in use for space operations since 2002 from Soyuz-TMA vehicles through Soyuz MS spacecraft currently.

Made in Russia by NPP "Zvezda" - the original manufacturer of spacesuits.

The spacesuit is quite large. Its feet are marked as 56-4-45, which implies a male cosmonaut of XL size, a shoe Russian size 45 (29 US) and a height of about 175 cm.
As stated by the previous owner, this suit was used by a Russian cosmonaut for a space mission to the International Space Station in 2019, without sharing any other details. The mission patches and the name tag have been removed from the suit. Judging by its excellent condition, it was worn for a space flight only and was not used for subsequent training other cosmonauts on the Soyuz spacecraft simulator or wilderness survival training. As its elbows are not much yellowish, it's believed to be quite a fresh spacesuit from a recent space mission, not subjected to long-term storage.

The spacesuit is in perfect technical and esthetic condition, worn couple of times for launch and descent only, without any serious defects. The adjustment mechanisms operate perfectly. External and internal layers, gloves, hoses and connectors, pressure regulator, manometer - all structural elements, including the mechanism for closing the helmet, are in good working order. There were no air leaks detected when the spacesuit was pressurized. Its exterior is clean, the nylon fabric is not faded, the elbows are not much yellowish. The gloves of GP-7S model can be easely attached and removed to the sleeves, their numbers are clear and well readable, as well as the numbers on the sleeves' attachment rings, distorted on the photos for this description only. The following patches are available on the suit: the logo of NPP "Zvezda", the logo of ROSKOSMOS, the Russian flag. The name tag and the mission patches are absent. No restoration is required.
