This genuine Hummel figurine is titled Accordion Boy and numbered 185. It depicts a young boy in shorts, green jacket, and hat, cheerfully playing an accordion. The figure stands approximately 14 cm tall.

The base is impressed with “Germany” and the model number 185, and shows the incised M.I. Hummel signature. It also features the Goebel V with Bee mark used between 1957 and 1972, confirming it as an authentic mid-20th century Goebel Hummel piece.

This design was first introduced in 1948, modelled by master sculptor Reinhold Unger, and has remained one of the most beloved musical-themed Hummel figures. The example shown here is in excellent vintage condition with bright colours, no chips, cracks, or repairs.
