Every Tomte is handmade which means each have their own unique look and character, this means beards will vary from curly or straight textures and different shades of gray.

Åsa has been making Santas (or in Swedish "tomtar") for over 25 years. 

These Swedish Santas are handmade in Småland, Sweden. The Santas are all hand felted with sheep wool using soap and lukewarm water, and with this process they make everything from the hats and clothing. The wool used is all unique to Scandinavia.  The grey curly wool comes from sheep from an isle of Sweden called Gotland and the straight wool comes from Norway and Iceland. 

Each Santa Gnome is said to have it's own unique personality, and the collection grows each year.

Now a beloved holiday tradition at Heath, these gnomes have been made by Åsas from felted Gotland sheep's wool and Icelandic sheep's hair in Sweden since 1993.
