- Ensure the vehicle is turned off and cooled down for safety before starting the installation process.
- Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical shorts or hazards during the replacement.
- Remove the existing alternator by loosening the pulley and disconnecting all attached electrical wires.
- Connect the new alternator by following the reverse order, ensuring all wires and connectors are securely fastened.
- Reattach the pulley and ensure alignment and tension are correct for optimal performance.
- Reconnect the battery and start the engine to test the functionality of the alternator.
