A little girl named Dorothy lived on a farm in Kansas with her aunt and uncle.

 One day a big wind picked up her house, Dorothy and dog Toto and carried them far away to Munchkin Land. 

When she asked how she could get back home she was told to ask the Great Wizard of Oz. 

She was told to follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. Along the way she met 3 friends who joined her. 

They told her also about The Wicked Witch of the West.

 The Wicked Witch did not like Dorothy and her new friends and soon captured Dorothy. It is a tale of hope and a tale of adventure.

 You must read the book to find out what happens.

 Does she find the Wizard? Does she every get back home to Kansas?
