I really wanted these boots to work for me. I LOVE these boots but my feet don't. Couple scuffs, see images. I bought them on sale and they didn't have my exact size and I just kept hoping that they'd work if I changed my socks or put in a heal lift. Nope! There has been added a small, above the heel, at ankle, pad. This can be pulled off if you don't like it (see last image). I found it did really help with the fit. 

Smoke-free home. Only worn in the off season, never with sweaty feet, lol. I feel like this is important to know when buying lightly worn shoes.
