Please note - I have examined the piece and am unable to determine if it is an original from 1898 or a later recreation. I have provided numerous photos - please examine the piece and make your own determination.  The paper backing is more modern. The fabric of the needlepoint has some spots of discoloration as shown.  Please see photos for full details.
