The Kawasaki Versys 1000 Stealth Backrest is a thing of beauty, simplicity, comfort and.. a worthy addition to the Pirates' Lair line of specialty motorcycle products. Our light-weight aluminum stealth rack replaces the cheesy plastic factory luggage rack in minutes with basic tools and intellect. It will look spanktacular on the bike. The backrest's polished stainless steel slide bar slides on and off the bike in under 20 seconds. No modifications necessary. Just bolt it on and give your passenger the support and comfort they deserve/demand when they need it and say good-bye to those pesky fingernail imprints in your ribs.. Fits 2015-2023.

Each Versys 1000 Stealth Backrest kit includes a sleek and sturdy aluminum rear rack (which is covered with a durable textured powder coating,) mounting hardware, and one hand-matched removable backrest. FYI.. Our rack is 11.75" wide vs 9.5 " front to rear. Our first class upholstery is done by world renowned custom seat and backrest maker.. Sargent Cycle Products They have furnished imported materials that are a close match visually for the wierd-o-rama oem seat material. Very clandestine. Blends perfectly with the rear of the bike. My goal was to make our Versys 1000 Stealth Backrest look factory and preserve the bike's beautiful lines and I think we succeeded. 

For those with the optional oem GIVI top box..Good news! Our racks are compatible. There are 4 spot-drilled marks on the bottom side of our rack. Two in front and two at the center rear where holes can be drilled by the customer should be want to use the top box. 

Install of the Versys 1000 stealth rack is *chimp easy taking all of 10 minutes.      * Chimp not included.
