The Rekluse RMS-826 z-Start Pro is an automatic clutch for motorcycles that requires a break-in period before it operates smoothly. It's designed to be more efficient than a human hand at clutching, which can help clutch parts last longer.
Installation
Remove the center clutch nut with a wrench while firmly applying the rear brake
Follow the instructions in the z-Start Pro Installation guide
Set the clutch cable slack correctly
Use a thick drive plate if the gauges slide in without resistance
Replace worn out friction plates
Use Loctite 243 on the torque screws and tighten them in a star pattern
Break-in
The z-Start Pro needs a short break-in period so the balls can wear into their grooves and reduce friction
Riding
Shift the bike from neutral to first gear with the clutch lever pulled in
Let the clutch lever out and slowly roll on the throttle to start moving
Upshift gears as normal, using the clutch lever or clutchless shifting techniques
Keep the RPM at or above 2000 RPM while cruising to prevent the clutch from slipping
