Sill Stiffener repair Panel

Over 20 years on the roads can have taken its toll on the bodywork.

In addition to the panels I already make to solve the normal MoT problems (sills skins ), we are now making parts which you cannot see until you start your rear of sills repairs. Once the sill skin is removed you are presented with the B Pillar foot which extends from where the front door shuts joining into the sills structure - all the way back to the Sills Closing panel in the rear wheelbox. - See my other listings

But hidden by the B-Pillar foot is the next part you will need - the Sill Stiffener. This part is important, because its actually to this panel that the sill skin is attached!

I've even added a picture from one of the repairs I have done to show you where this part is hidden, and how rusty it can become...

Most cars need this panel repairing at the very least. While its clearly possible to lash up a DiY patch to solve the issue, if you are doing a more serious job than... just trying to get one more mot... you will probably also want to replace this panel too.

Please note, with all my panels you get a tooled component with the details of the original - not just a slap on over the top, sheet of metal which sort of looks ok after covering up and filling in the gaps between where it touches!

Please use the ‘See sellers other items’ to navigate to my other parts which will help you fix your Rover/MG’s bodywork.

Nothing has been available  to fix this area - ever.

All my repair panels make building up the back end of your sills structure so much easier than patch repairs. It has exactly the profile of the original panel, has all the required detail  to make it look as originally built. It provides the hard to make details of the flanges to the closer and has all the cut-outs pre formed for you.

Please look at the pictures - There are listings for both sides. And what you may well see when you open your own sill structure!

My panels are manufactured in the UK from Zintec coated steel. This has a zinc surface treatment which makes the panels much more resistant to corrosion than untreated steel, but is perfectly ok to weld through.

If you dont feel up to doing this job, I have contacts who can!

If you need any combinations of the parts I supply or if anything isnt quite clear, just message me. I do special deals for more than one piece and can combine shipping costs..

If you wish to see before you buy, I do various shows throughout the year, NEC, Beaulieu, Stoneliegh and various Rover shows, ask which is coming up..

These parts are also available for members through the Rover 200/400 Club and 'theBRM' Forum.
