A lovely antique Edwardian sterling silver Sovereign case hallmarked in Birmingham for 1908 by A.L. Dennison.  This Sovereign case is circular in shape with a golf ball style finish to the body and a push button at the top to open the lid to reveal a spring mechanism in order to house the Sovereigns.  This silver Sovereign case would make a useful addition to a collection and could be worn if so desired as there is a ring attachment at the top.  It remains in excellent condition.  When taking photographs, it is difficult to eliminate the reflection on silver.
