Superb pair of early Italian apothecary jars from an upstate collection. I never attempted to soak or clean this pair.
Both solid with one lid with crack that begins at the upper rim and extends down and around 65% at the underside rim. Same lid has finial glued in place - obviously it was dropped causing both issues long ago.
These pedestal type jars are painted in a King’s Rose type design / pattern a common design in England at or near the same time period - one jar is basil and the other is Adveih I believe (a blended spice).
Each jar measures 10 1/8” inches tall. Any other questions please ask.
