"Belgium and Western Germany in 1833; Including Visits to Baden-Baden, Wiesbaden, Cassel, Hanover, The Harz Mountains, &c, &c." is a 2 volume, 5"x7.5" hardcover set (complete) written by Mrs. Trollope (Frances Milton Trollope) and published in 1834 in London by John Murray. This is the first edition. Vol. I has 329 pages (plus xii) while Vol. II has 298 pages (plus viii). 

In good condition. The three-quarter leather boards show rubbing, edge wear, some fading to the gilt lettering and decorations at the spine. Both volumes have Frank L. Hadley's oil-themed bookplate on the front pastedown. Vol. I's ffep is detached and the subsequent two leaves are partly detached, as is Vol. II's ffep. Vol. II's ffep and the next two pages show loss or are bent at the bottom corner. Vol. I has a small pencil mark on the title page and Vol. II has a similar mark to the first flyleaf.
