Vintage Pair of Traditional Korean Wedding Wooden Mandarin Ducks

These are beautiful, authentic, hand-carved birds.  They were a gift to our family in the 1950s when we lived in Korea.  

Meaning:  Mandarin ducks were believed to be monogamous by nature, which is why they symbolize fidelity and love.  

These would make a wonderful gift for a couple or a bride or bride's mother or can be displayed where they can be easily seen as a reminder of a harmonious wedding and the promise of a happy life. 

They measure approximately 9.5" long by 5.5" tall.  Their heads can be removed and can rotate 360 degrees.

The ducks show minor signs of age (a few scuffs/see photos) but are in overall wonderful condition.  Ships quickly!
