The 915MHz Moxon antenna is a range-extending antenna specially developed for Frsky's 915MHz remote control system, and it is also suitable for the 915MHz remote control system of Black Sheep. Compared with the standard rod antenna included in the above remote control package, this antenna can increase approximately 3dB of gain. When flying the same distance, it can obtain a more stable remote control signal and reduce the risk of losing control. At a power of 1W, the actual test shows stable performance up to 15km, with a maximum range reaching 30km. In today's increasingly crowded flight areas, this distance can meet the needs of most people. In crossing scenarios, when flying over the same area, using the original antenna sometimes causes loss of control. After replacing with the Moxon antenna, there has been no loss of control situation. Of course, it will also lose control when there are many obstacles. Finally, it should be specially noted: This antenna is a directional antenna with certain directionality. The signal performance behind the antenna will be worse than that of the rod antenna.
This antenna is for DIY use. After purchase, it should not be returned on the grounds that the antenna effect is not good.
