1) "R-TYPE DELTA" Returns After 27 Years
"R-TYPE DELTA," the game that revolutionized the "R-TYPE" series, is back.
In addition to traditional elements like the powerful "Wave Cannon"—which charges up energy by holding down the shot button—and the completely invincible "Force" weapon for attack and defense, the game also features the "Delta-Weapon," an all-directional attack that absorbs the energy of enemies and enemy bullets that come into contact with the Force.

Deploy three types of "R" fighter planes to change your strategy. Eliminate the "Bydo" enemies that fuse with living creatures and weapons.

2) "Boosted"—Evolved Visuals and Sound

Switch between new HD remastered graphics and the original 1998 graphics. Newly arranged background music by past "R-TYPE" artists Masahiko Ishida, USP, and Chris Hölsbeck has been added.

A new Training Mode has been added, allowing you to start from any condition and scenario. A new "DELTA" battlefield begins.

3) A "Deluxe Edition" with Bonus Items Also Available
The deluxe edition, "R-TYPER's PREMIUM EDITION," also includes a set of nine metallic art mini posters featuring illustrations from the R series, a lenticular that changes the main visual in three dimensions, and a reprint of the 1991 Irem newsletter.

A two-disc soundtrack CD set, an official fan book, a B3 cloth poster, a set of nine metallic art mini posters, a main visual lenticular, and a reprint of the R-TYPE special issue of the Irem newsletter "Dragonfly."
