Example at low speed: When the rider applies the brakes more frequently (like in city driving at low speeds), the bursts of flashes to the rear brake lights will be shorter. If the brakes are pressed within 0 to 12 seconds(adjustable), the brake light will NOT flash, allowing it to work normally (solid brake light). This feature is especially useful in heavy stop-and-go traffic to avoid bothering the the vehicle behind you.

Example at cruising speed: When the rider applies the brakes less frequently (such as at constant cruising speed), the bursts to the rear brake light will be longer. This is particularly important during sudden deceleration at speeds that need quick responses to changes in traffic or other drivers' actions. Avoid using outdated, bulkier modules on your motorcycle that cause your brake light to pulse every time you brake. Many of these cheaper, annoying modules will keep flashing your brake light(s) even when you are fully stopped in traffic. This is not only illegal and bothersome, but it also detracts from your vehicle's appearance and distracts other drivers and riders. Some of these "zombie-like" flashers claim to have an accelerometer module that supposedly provides a few hundred milliseconds of reaction time. We have tested these in our lab and during road tests, and they do not work due to engine vibration, road vibration, and mounting angle. There are simply too many noise-vectored components, resulting in very poor sensitivity. At best, they are just for marketing.
