- Because the color is golden yellow, also known as "gold filter", the advanced coating process is used to achieve 500.7nm (OIII 5nm), 656.3nm(Halpha 5nm), high transmission of two bands, 0111:T>82%, Ha:T>90%, and out of the passband, we achieved OD4.5 out-of-band blocking, which will effectively block the impact of city light damage, sky light and other background light, so that the nebula presents a better contrast.
- Gold filter double 5nm design, suitable for color camera and black and white camera shooting, which will be more effective to improve the efficiency of shooting. Whether in urban or suburban areas, nebulae can show better detail and contrast.
- Prior to mass production, we optimized the Halo problem of interest to minimize the halo design.
- Better coating process: The Dualband 5nm filter (Gold filter) is mainly a substrate coating after a double-sided finishing process, which is optimized with a better coating process to ensure high transmittance of Ha and OIII bands.
- High contrast and signal-to-noise ratio: Dualband 5nm filter (Gold filter) uses a new coating technology, double-sided multilayer coating, although this increases the coating time and cost, but can get better contrast, by suppressing background interference, you can get better level and contrast.
- The finer star points minimize the halo: The Dualband 5nm filter (Gold filter) has a high cutoff design that makes its star point thinner and minimizes the halo of bright stars.
