This listing is for one of the famous Oliver "Batwing" No. 9 typewriters. It's in decent condition for its age, the top title piece looks nearly new, other markings have a bit of rust covering them. All of the parts seem to be here, all the keys are included, everything like it should be. It just doesn't operate properly. The keys don't depress, the space bar doesn't work. But I have no expertise in these types of repairs, probably something simple, seems like it's the little rod that comes off the space bar that is the start of the issue, if not the whole issue. But I really don't know. I didn't want to mess with it and break it even more. But if you know what you're doing, probably an easy fix. And I'm offering it at a low price that reflects it's non op status. MAKE ME AN OFFER. I AM VERY NEGOTIABLE.
