GRADES:

  • Grade Name: KCPM45
  • Material Description: Steel, Stainless
  • Grade Description: Multilayered PVD TiN-TiAlN coated medium-grain carbide. Applicable for steel and cast iron. This grade offers excellent wear resistance and reliability at intermediate cutting speeds. Due to the medium-grain carbide, it offers superior chipping resistance in metastable machining conditions.
  • Grade Name: KC7315
  • Material Description: Steel, Cast Iron
  • Grade Description: Multilayered PVD TiN-TiAlN coated fine-grain carbide. Applicable for steel and cast iron. This grade offers excellent wear resistance and reliability at intermediate to elevated cutting speeds.
  • Grade Name: KC7320 , KCMS15
  • Material Description: Steel, Stainless, Superalloys
  • Grade Description: Monolayer PVD AlTiN coated fine-grain carbide with superior surface finish. First choice for stainless steel and high-temperature-resistant materials. The coating offers high hardness and excellent wear resistance as well as enhanced high-temperature properties increasing its applicability also to MQL machining of steel.
  • Grade Name: KC7135
  • Material Description: Steel, Stainless, Superalloys
  • Grade Description: PVD TiCN/TiN coated medium-grain carbide with high toughness. Used for KSEM PC pre-centering inserts in most materials. The highly wear-resistant TiCN coating combined with a tough carbide substrate are perfectly suited to help with pre-centering operations in metastable machining conditions.

GEOMETRY:

  • HPCCL geometry for cast iron. With corner chamfer for wear protection and smooth hole exit. Four margin lands for perfect hole straightness.
  • HPG and HPGM geometry for alloyed steels. With straight cutting edge for maximum stability in short chipping steels and interrupted cuts.
  • HP geometry for long chipping steels. With curved cutting edge for optimum chip formation.
  • HPL geometry for stainless steels. The innovative cutting geometry creates two chips in each chip flute for perfect chip evacuation.
  • PC geometry for piloting in all materials.
  • FEG geometry for flat bottom hole drilling, and piloting on inclined entries in steels and cast iron.
  • SPL geometry for low cutting forces in high temperature alloys, and non-ferrous materials. Four-facet geometry with four margin lands for perfect centering and hole straightness.
