This set comes from my late mother who wanted to give her kid the BIGGEST lego star wars set ever! It stood proudly upon my childhood shelf and was the centerpiece of a nerd6 little kids collection.
Once she passed and life became scrambled the set fell apart and left unbuilt for years. Then on my mother's birthday, I asked my dad if we could build the set together in her memory.
One weekend later, the ship stood proudly once more. A couple pieces were lost to time but that didn't matter. It stood once more, resurrected and revitalized.
Yet the course of time moved ever onward as adulthood reared it's ugly head and forced me to part with most of my Lego collection.
And even once collage was over and I was able to reclaim my lego sets.... capitalism reared its ugly head and demanded bills to be paid.
Rent, food, insurance, college debts, heart surgeries.....it's just all a lot.
So, here I am, asking for someone who would rehome this set in hopes it can bring them comfort and joy as it once did me.
Please know that all the money will go to feeding my darling cat, The Grand Gorm, GG for short. And will go to feeding me and my partner.
