The white Daruma has the character "Kou" (happiness) while the red Daruma has the character "Fuku" (good fortune) painted on them.
They have the characteristic "he" shape of Daruma's mouth with a cute expression.

**Avoid Direct Sunlight**
To prevent fading from direct sunlight please display indoors away from direct sunlight.
Even if not exposed directly colors may gradually fade due to light intensity and aging.
**Be Mindful of Temperature and Humidity**
Avoid displaying in places with sudden temperature changes near heat sources air conditioning vents high humidity and areas prone to condensation.
**Strictly No Water Exposure**
Kokeshi is delicate and sensitive to water so avoid washing with water wiping with wet hands or getting wet.
Chipping or discoloration of the painted parts may occur and the wood may crack as it dries.
**Gently Remove Dust**
To remove dust that has accumulated gently brush it off with a duster or a soft dry cloth.
Do not rub vigorously or wipe with a wet cloth as this may cause scratches or color fading.
