Antique Japanese Kutani Vase 9” Tall Hand Painted Birds & Flowers Signed
Antique Japanese Kutani porcelain vase, measuring approximately 9 inches tall. The piece features a tall-neck form with beautifully hand-painted decorations of birds in flight and perched among chrysanthemums and peonies. The design includes rich enamels in red, gold, and black, highlighted with delicate gilt details.
The base bears a red Kutani mark, consistent with Meiji to early Taishō period production (circa 1890–1920).
A wonderful example of fine Japanese export porcelain that displays beautifully and would make an excellent addition to any Asian ceramics collection.
