Custom printed circuit boards designed for the crossover of the Classix III speaker design by Paul Carmody.

Take the guesswork out of crossover assembly, these boards make the assembly process quick and straightforward.

The boards measure 4" x 5" and feature large solder pads and wide copper traces for excellent electrical connectivity.

Each PCB kit includes:

2x Crossover PCBs for the Classix III speaker design.

6x Terminal blocks which accept up to 12 gauge wire.

8x Snap in PCB standoffs.

8x Mounting screws (screw finish may vary).

Requires:

Crossover components for the Classix III speaker design.

The following are compatible components designed to fit on this PCB, other components of equivalent value and similar dimensions should also fit:

C1 - 8.2uF - Dayton Audio DMPC-8.2

C2 - 10uF - Dayton Audio DMPC-10

C3 - 100uF - 100V Axial Electrolytic Non-Polarized Crossover Capacitor (NPE)

L1 - 0.60mH - Jantzen Audio 0.60mH 20 AWG Air Core -or- Dayton Audio 0.60mH 20 AWG Air Core

L3 - 1.2mH - Jantzen Audio 1.2mH 18 AWG Air Core

R1 - 8 Ohm - Dayton Audio DNR-6 -or-  8 Ohm 10W Wirewound Resistor

R2 - 3 Ohm - Dayton Audio DNR-3 -or- 3 Ohm 10W Wirewound Resistor

R3 - 10 Ohm - Dayton Audio DNR-10 -or- 10 Ohm 10W Wirewound Resistor

Assembly:

Glue components to the correct positions on the board (high temp hot melt glue or E6000 works great). Secure inductors with non metallic cable ties. Solder components leads to the pads on the bottom of the board. Attach wires from input and drivers and mount crossover board.
