This set of 2 cube style note pads are promotional items created by the Lee Way Motor Freight Inc. in Oklahoma City. They depict a comical crazy eyed character named Bubba Lee driving a truck and declaring “ Lee Way is coming to get you”! Someone definitely had a sense of humor!

They are still sealed and unused. There is a spot of discoloration or discolored glue on the top and bottom of both cubes. These spots look to be just on the plastic. Please see last two pictures.

These cubes are heavy and weigh cumulatively almost 2.5 pounds.

They would be a perfect gift for someone who used to work for Lee Way Motors.

“Lee Way Motor Freight….Founded 1934 in Oklahoma City, Ok by Mr. Whitt Lee who started his trucking company with a horse and buggy some 20 years earlier. Lee Way Motors bought up smaller carriers and eventually expanded throughout Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico. By doing so, Lee Way became the nation’s largest coast to coast carrier and was eventually sold to PepsiCo. In 1984, the Lee Way Oklahoma City headquarters eventually closed the company.”
