Korg MA-2 Digital Metronome Blue/Black
Korg MA-2 Digital Metronome - Available in Black/Red or Blue/Black
The Korg MA-2 Compact Metronome is a versatile and essential tool for musicians of all levels, offering a range of features designed to enhance rhythm training and practice.
This upgraded model builds upon the popular MA-1, providing improved visibility, sound, and functionality in a compact and portable design.
Enhanced Visibility
The MA-2 boasts a 30% larger display than its predecessor, making it significantly easier to read tempo and beat information at a glance. A digital needle and triangular icon provide clear visual cues for beat placement and measure changes.
Improved Sound
A newly designed electronic buzzer delivers a louder, crisper sound that cuts through even loud instruments or high frequencies, ensuring the metronome's beat is always clearly audible.
Comprehensive Rhythm Training Tools
The MA-2 offers a wide range of tempo settings (pendulum step, full step, and tap tempo), time signatures (0-9 beats), and rhythm patterns (8 types), catering to diverse musical styles and practice needs. The tap tempo function allows for quick and easy tempo detection by tapping along to a piece of music.
Practical Practice Modes
Beyond basic metronome functionality, the MA-2 includes two helpful modes:
- Timer Mode: Set a practice time (1-120 minutes) and the metronome will stop and sound an alarm when the time is up, perfect for structured practice sessions.
- Sound Out Mode: Generate a reference tone (C4-B4) for tuning, with adjustable A4 calibration (410-480 Hz).
User-Friendly Design
The MA-2 features a redesigned body with a convenient folding stand for optimal visibility. A sliding, integrated battery cover prevents loss, and the device boasts an impressive battery life of approximately 400 hours of continuous use on alkaline batteries. A low battery indicator ensures you're never caught off guard.
Portable and Durable
The slim and compact design makes the MA-2 easy to carry anywhere, while its robust construction ensures it can withstand the rigors of daily use.

Available in two colour schemes (blue and black, or black and red), the MA-2 offers a touch of personal style.
