🔧 Core Functions 

  • This plug provides a quick solution to the common 'Swirl valve fault'.
  • That occurs on the OM642 V6 Diesel engines fitted to various Mercedes, Chrysler and JEEP Car Van and 4x4 models.
  • This plug connects in place of the faulty Pierburg 6421500494 swirl valve actuator motor and fools the car into thinking that the motor is working.

  • The Swirl valve can be effectively bypassed by fitting a resistor across 2 of the connections on a plug that connects to the Pierburg 6421500494 actuator motor.

  • 2009 and later OM642 Engines - This plug will work BUT the ECM will need tuning because these engines have sensors fitted to verify that the swirl valve is opening and closing.That occurs on the OM642 V6 Diesel engines fitted to various Mercedes, Chrysler and JEEP Car Van and 4x4 models.
