Brecksville is a small Ohio town between Cleveland and Akron. 

Dorcas Lavina Snow (1902-1994)  was born into a family that was among the first residents of the area. She wrote and published 12 Brecksville history books, featuring community history, anecdotes of events and people,  with many old photos of buildings, stores, streets  and more,  all from times long gone.
