The SSB393P1 is the Seiko Conceptual — a titanium sport chronograph that takes the core proposition of a well-specified quartz chronograph and builds it around one of watchmaking’s most capable case materials. The 41.6mm titanium case brings the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any known metal to the wrist, and the additional super-hard coating elevates scratch resistance beyond that of untreated titanium — making this a watch that is both lighter and tougher than a comparable steel-cased model.
The black carbon-fibre style dial sets a sporty, purposeful tone, framing a fully specified three-register chronograph layout: 60-second, 60-minute, and 12-hour sub-dials at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, operated by push-buttons at 2 and 4 o’clock. A tachymeter scale on the chapter ring adds speed-over-distance measurement capability.
