This vintage Stetson fedora style hat has been in the family a long time. My best recollection is that it was purchased new in the 70s.

It is a brown wool tweed with a braided wool band. Remnants of a feather are still attached. A metal Stetson emblem is still attached to the band.

Size is 7 3/8.

It appears there is some moth damage….

Just by the nature of the tweed it isn’t easily discernable; however, there appear to be some spots that are white … perhaps the work of a moth. Seen along the sides, braid and under bill. There is a yellowish mark on the front and some slighter darker stains in the back. I’m including detailed photos of all. Please view in detail - this hat is being sold as-is. Once again, the wool tweed helps hide any defects.

This is not a perfect hat - but it is authentic from the 70s and enjoyed for decades. Always from a smoke-free home.
