HOn3 MRGS D&RGW (Long) Vestibule Passenger Car. Laser cut wood, with cast resin roof and plastic details. Kit #3323. The cast resin roof takes the hard work out of assembling these kits.
This kit builds the longer (39 ft, 8in., most common) of the D&RGW San Juan/Shavano Passenger cars. Prototypically correct for seven (7) of these cars, numbers 272, 310, 312, 323, 325, 326 & 327. Some of these cars are now operating on the Durango & Silverton and at Knott's Berry Farm, all but 272 are still in existence. See R. Prototype photos from the internet and MRGS collection, model photo (323) built up by the late Jim Vail, model is in the MRGS collection and is not for sale. Modelers Note: Diaphragms in photos are not included in kit, prototype had them while in San Juan service, but lost them when the cars went into use on the Silverton Train.

Highly rated by reviewers and modelers, this is the first time a kit for this car has been offered, your other choice would be brass, in HO scale. There are complete instructions included, but no diaphragms, trucks, decals, couplers, paint or glue. Packed in poly bag with header card, complete instruction and detail parts.
See review by the late Jim Vail in the NARROW GAUGE GAZETTE. Trucks are available (PN 5002A) for $ 11.55 a pair (see last photos), add them to your order. Not a quickie kit, craftsman quality, but easy and simple to assemble by the average kit builder.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We Prefer E-Bay Global Shipping Program. Shipping for international orders will also be determined after the close of the auction and will be Priority Mail unless requested otherwise. Priority Mail includes tracking for your benefit. At this point we have not been able to establish tracking for First Class Packages, when we can we will alter our shipping methods, First class small package is the less expensive (less expensive) method, no tracking so possibility of loss, beware, you must tell us before checking out or paying as E-Bay defaults to global shipping.
