A
good-quality penetrating adhesive with a liquid consistency, designed
for joining plastic model parts with an average curing time (commonly
referred to as drying time). It comes in a stable 40 ml container with a
square base, which makes it difficult for the adhesive to tip over
during use. It also has a special brush (attached to the cap) for easy
application. Its key ingredients are solvent, butyl acetate, and
acetone. Its chemical properties allow you to first perfectly match the
parts of the plastic model to be joined and then apply the glue to their
outer sides. What is more, the presented substance not only penetrates
even the smallest gaps between the joined surfaces, but also
“evaporates” relatively quickly from the remaining areas, leaving almost
no trace. For this reason, it is also very well suited for filling
smaller gaps in the glued model, replacing modeling putty in this role.
It is recommended for use primarily when gluing rather large surfaces of
plastic models, but it can also be successfully used when joining
modeling details (e.g., aircraft antennas). It will prove particularly
useful when working with miniatures of ships and boats in 1:350 and
1:700 scales or aircraft in 1:32, 1:48, and 1:72 scales.
