・Prototype: J13 formation (Kawasaki Heavy Industries-built) belonging to Kanazawa General Rolling Stock Depot
・Accurately replicates the distinct front-end design, skirt, and roof details that differ from the 2nd batch 521 Series
・Front-end faithfully reproduces the fall-prevention hood design, a standard on JR West commuter/suburban trains
・Front car comes equipped with a dummy coupler replicating the coupler cover and jumper cable. Can be replaced with the included coupler parts to allow front-to-front coupling
・Uses close-coupling system (hookless) for intermediate connection
・Flywheel-equipped motor unit with traction tires ensures stable running
・Pre-printed front destination sign reads “Local Kanazawa”; includes interchangeable signs for “Local Tsuruga” and blank
・Side destination signs represented with black blanks; additional destination sticker sheet included
・Head/tail lights illuminate (with off switch)
