Pettit® Tuff Coat is a state-of-the-art, single-component, flexible, water-based product created through a unique process of cross-linking urethanes, acrylics, co-polymers, and recycled rubber granules to create a long-lasting non-skid coating. This product is designed to provide an attractive, highly durable, impact-resistant, non-slip surface for boats, yachts, decks, and docks. Pettit TuffCoat is the perfect semi-smooth texture solution in high-traffic areas where safety is a high priority, and its powerful UV filters allow the coating to be used in direct or indirect sunlight without the coating fading, peeling, or breaking down. Pettit Tuff Coat's flexible matte finish dries to 30-35 mils of thickness, creating a finish that hides significant imperfections on all surfaces as well as improves existing non-skid finishes from boat manufacturers. Tuff Coat™ non-skid coatings must be applied by Tuff Coat rollers to ensure a uniform finish and proper dispersion of the rubber granules or a low-pressure hopper spray gun.
