Includes the original case and an almost complete set of Bb and A slides.
The serial number leads me to believe this is a 1902 historic instrument. Super lucky find for its condition!
This was a graveyard instrument when I got a hold of it. It is now playable but definitely has some - experimental and questionable - hobbyist band instrument repairs. I used JB weld 2 part epoxy to reassemble the valve pistons. 2 of the 3 were in pieces when I got it. I soldered modern water keys to the lead pipe and 3rd valve slide.
I used JB weld to repair one slide before I learned how to solder and was just waiting for the joint to break before I did a proper repair.
I hammered the dents out of the bell, which is why it's not perfect and still has the scars.
Great little piece of history and definitely playable now. Needs some TLC from a proper tech for it to be an actual instrument worth using, but it's a nice little thing to have around.
