Propolis is a resin-like substance bees create by blending tree sap with their own wax and enzymes. In the hive, they use it to seal cracks and keep the colony clean and protected from germs – essentially acting as the bees’ natural immune system.

We gently harvest propolis by scraping it from frames and hive crevices where bees naturally deposit it. Nothing is heated or refined – just raw, unprocessed propolis straight from our Woodinville hives, carefully collected to preserve its natural potency.

How to use it: Many people make their own tinctures by dissolving propolis in high-proof alcohol, or create healing salves for minor skin irritations and scratches. You can infuse it into honey or oil for a natural remedy with antimicrobial support.
