This
is a wonderful antique darning or mending sampler, showing various darning techniques, stitched with green and black wool thread.
The sampler is Dutch and is dated 1893. It is signed 'L P'.
It measures approximately 9 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches or 25 x 22.5 cm.
There is some color run and some loss of threads, please see photos.If you have any questions or would like more or larger pictures, please don't hesitate to contact me.
