This is a beautifully carved Qing Dynasty Chinese tourmaline toggle featuring an elegant floral motif in vivid shades of deep royal purple. This piece is carved from natural tourmaline and weighs 16.2 carats. It is hand-carved with exceptional precision and intended for use as a sash toggle or robe ornament, typical of late Qing dynasty clothing. This toggle can easily be used as a pendant.

There is no damage, only a small drill hole at the top, consistent with original function. The toggle is in excellent condition and comes from a large estate collection of fine Chinese antiques.
