This is a compressor-duty Baldor motor that is designed specifically as a replacement motor for many models of Ingersoll Rand air compressors that require a 7.5-horsepower motor on a 184 T-frame platform. This motor is designed to meet start-up/torque requirements for air compressors, which makes it a great, heavy-duty, long-lasting motor for many other applications! This motor has a 1-1/8" keyed shaft, which is standard for a 184T frame motor. The shaft measures 3.5" long from the front face of the motor. This is a high-quality Baldor electric motor that will outperform the competition every time!
