This is a new copy of Unusual Airlines and Airliners: A Photo Journal by noted aviation author I. E. Quastler.  It is a softcover volume with 144 pages and contains hundreds of photos of unusual aircraft and airlines taken by the author since 1969, none of which have been published before.  Locations for the aircraft range from Australia, various South Pacific islands, Papua New Guinea and North America and include rarities from commuter airlines to major airlines and their widebody aircraft.  Also included are photos of airport locations, terminals, aerial photos of airport approaches and other historic gems that are available nowhere else.  Photos are accompanied by extensive commentary and notes providing background and historical information.

Books are unread and in excellent nearly mint condition.  The books did endure some minor damage during shipping to me from the publisher with some corner or edge damage, and may not be in perfect condition by the time you receive them.

The book will be shipped with all reasonable care, but any damage they received in shipping from the publisher to me cannot be fixed.

Free domestic shipping within the United States is by media mail; faster shipping options at additional cost are also available upon request.

I'm a long-time collector reducing my inventory of duplicate material. If there's something specific you're looking for please contact me. There's always a chance I may have what you want but just haven't gotten around to listing it.  I try to describe the condition of things accurately but if you have specific concerns please e-mail me prior to bidding.

Thanks for looking and don't forget to check my other listings!

Mint condition is just that - brand new with no signs of any creases, folds, writing, thumb dents or any crinkling at all, and any original gloss on the cover paper remains intact.

Excellent condition may have some signs of minor overall wear, perhaps some defects introduced during the printing/distribution process such as paper crinkling or slight physical damage such as upturned corners. Interior pages are all intact with no writing or dog eared pages. Defects are generally from either light handling or more likely from the production process.

Very good condition will have signs of use such as thumb dents and there may be some shallow creases or folds in the cover or interior pages. The binding will be completely intact and all interior pages will be intact although there may be some corner wear.

Good condition will have some deterioration of the original binding or pages with some writing or folds present. There may be cover crinkling, thumb dents, corner dents or pages may have been folded back for reference, leaving substantial creasing or fold marks.  All interior pages are intact but the item is visibly used.

Poor condition will have all pages present but be visibly used, with significant folds, creases, writing, water damage or other wear that makes the item a poor choice for a collector.
