Listing includes one pottery figure produced by SylvaC and marked 1415. The dog figure is of a skye Terrier and is in a beige light brown color. The dog is in very good preowned condition with light wear from normal use and age. There may be some light crazing in some areas on the figure consistent with age and use. The figure measures approximately 7 inches long and 5 inches tall. This is a harder to find figure that often does not appear on the market.

SylvaC is most famous for its animal figurines, particularly rabbits and dogs. They produced pieces in various breeds and sizes. Figures are typically marked with "SylvaC England" and sometimes a model number, often on the base. SylvaC used earthenware, incorporating Cornish stone, French flint, Dorset/Devon ball clay, and china clay in their pottery. While the company continued under the Shaw & Copestake name, the production of SylvaC figurines is generally considered to have ended in the 1970s, though some argue that pieces made after 1982 are not authentic SylvaC. The pieces were produed by Shaw & Copestake under the Sylvac Brand
