Aged Truss Rod Cover - Repro for 70's-80's MIJ Burny Guitar 50's-60's Style LP/LPC/SG/ES 

Brand new custom made aged reproduction truss rod cover for Burny Made In Japan 1970's and 1980's replica guitars. 

This style of cover is found on Made In Japan Burny 1970's FLG models and 1980 RLG model replicas of the Gibson LP, the same covers were also used on Burny's RSA ES style and Burny's RSG SG style guitars from the same years.

 

This cover custom was CNC machined to match the stock Burny item. An original 1984 Burny RLG cover and a 1983 RLC cover were digitally plotted, and the cover offered for sale here is based the measurements derived from those two originals. 

It's made the same way as the original Burny covers - 3 ply BWB with a flat step half way through the white layer. They are CNC cut then scraped, sanded and polished by hand to a satin finish, and then aged to look the part of a 1980's piece.

Cover size is 2.375" x 1.112" x .066" thick, mounting screw holes match Gibson historic '59 style at 2.0" on center.
