This fantastic legacy lens features a high quality construction and high levels of optical performance to help take your photography to the next level!
The 35mm focal length lends itself well to landscape work, but on Canon cameras with APS-C size sensors, the lens also makes a great general purpose lens with the fast F/2.8 aperture enabling the user to use shallow depth of field to isolate subjects.
The fast aperture also allows for higher shutter speeds, meaning the lens continues to be usable in light levels that would cause slower lenses to succumb to shake induced blurring.
The lens is a manual optic, and hence focusing and aperture must be adjusted manually but the camera will still provide automatic exposure when used in "AV" mode!
This classic lens really delivers the goods and at an affordable price. If you want to progress from the limited creative possibilities of your kit lens, and start taking shallow focus shots without breaking the bank then this is the lens for you! This lens is ideal for a multitude of subjects such as animals and wildlife, portraits, selective landscape, wide angle close ups, architecture and many more!
Built from high quality materials, this lens was made to last and features typically robust Japanese build quality.
This lens comes with a removable Canon EF adapter allowing it to be fitted to all Canon DSLR cameras that use the EF mount.
The lens is in very good working condition overall with just normal signs of use and not abuse! A few specks of dust, as is the case with all used lenses, but nothing that affects IQ. As you can see from the sample images, the lens is performing brilliantly!
The lens comes supplied with a Canon EF adapter and front & rear caps.
I take my feedback very seriously and always go the extra mile with my listings, including taking the time to shoot sample photos with each pre-owned lens I sell, so you know exactly what kind of results you can expect!
