This is a lovely example of the Allcock's Facile, Ebonite, Centre Pin Fishing Reel. It measures 2 3/4" in Diameter.
The is a lightweight reel with an Ebonite backplate and a composite spool made up of an Ebonite face, wooden core and alloy backplate.
So we have a 2 3/4" spool which has an 11/16" gape.
The reel spins well and the spool locking screw is split which I believe allows the spool to be braked as it is tightened.
